WHY SHOULD I CERTIFY MY COMPANY?

The reasons that lead a company to become certified can be of both internal and external ones.
The main benefits are:

  • effectively and continually improve performance and internal processes and their control
  • increase the capacity to satisfy customer requirements and expectations
  • decreasing costs related to inefficiency of activities carried out
  • precisely define all responsibilities and the professional development programme for resources used
  • managing and improving aspects related to environmental, worker health and safety, energy related, social responsibility, etc.
  • clearly communicate the results to reference markets

Besides, an impartial third-party body verifies and certifies to the market that the organisation is working to systematically improve its performance, with increasingly ambitious objectives related to continuous improvement.

WHAT TYPES OF MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ARE THERE?

WHAT IS A MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?

A management system (SG) is a set of rules and procedures, defined in an internationally recognised standard, that an organisation or company may apply in order to reach defined objectives, such as, for example:

  • customer satisfaction
  • continual improvement of company performance
  • the capacity to demonstrate to third parties (that is customers or potential customers, control bodies, suppliers or other subjects outside of the company) the ability to continuously maintain commitments taken and always satisfy customer requirements

The objective is to generally have instruments that allow the company to keep its processes and activities under control.

The adoption of a management system is voluntary and a Third Party Body must certify to its effectiveness.
